Psych (Interim Autonomous Practice)

Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Alberta with a Ph.D. in Psychology and is licensed as a psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He brings with him a wealth of diverse experiences in providing psychological services most recently including psychotherapy with members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Previous work experience has included private practice, hospitals, general mental health clinics servicing the community, and Edmonton Public School Board. Dr. Smith’s theoretical orientation is best described as eclectic with emphasis on cognitive-behavioural, client-centred, experiential, systemic as well as interpersonal approaches to understanding and effectively working with clients’ presenting issues.
