Pierre has a Masters of Science degree in exercise physiology. He was lab director at the Human Kinetics Assessment Centre at the University of Ottawa from 1990-1993. Pierre co-founded and directed a Sport Science Centre in Ottawa from 1994-1997. Through the University and the Sport Science Centre, he has worked with over 20 Olympic and Professional teams and many occupational groups. Pierre and his partners also developed and delivered a national certification program for personal trainers, and taught sport specific physiology (level IV coaching certification) to National and potential National Team Coaches. Over 50% of all the Canadian athletes that won medals in the Atlanta Summer Olympic games were getting services from Pierre and his partners at the Centre.
Some of the National Olympic & Professional Teams Pierre has worked with: Archery, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Biathlon, Boxing, Cross-Country skiing, Curling, Cycling, Downhill Skiing, Field Hockey, Figure Skating, Judo, L.A. Kings Hockey Club, Ottawa Rough Riders Football, Ottawa Senators Hockey Club, Rowing, Ski jumping, Soccer, Squash, Table Tennis, Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club, Track and Field, Wheelchair Basketball.
Occupational Groups include S.E.R.T (Search and Emergency Response Team (beyond SWAT team)), police officers, firefighters, ambulance officers.
He has also developed an international educational program for Health Care Practitioners and is a highly experienced presenter with audiences of over 6000 people.
Pierre is President of ExerSciz Solutions, a company that developed the Health and Lifestyle Management Programs for one of the largest medical group in Canada. He currently is acting as the National program director.
