Dr. Aubry graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of Ottawa Medical School in 1975 and completed a two year residency in Family Medicine in 1977. He became interested in alternative medicine techniques in 1981 when he trained in Orthopedic Medicine with Dr. James Cyriax.
This was followed by training in Prolotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, which changed the direction of his practice and interest in medicine. He then concentrated his efforts more on musculoskeletal dysfunctions and treating patients with acute and chronic pain.
Over the next 45+ years he expanded his view of medicine and patient care by exploring, learning and incorporating into his practice a myriad of complementary techniques that include:
- Orthopedic Medicine
- Prolozone
- Neural Prolotherapy (Perineural Injection Therapy (PIT)
- Vitamin C Therapy
- Laser Therapy
- Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Homo toxicology
- Nutritional Biochemistry
Over his more than 45+ years of medical practice Dr. Aubry has studied and taught alternative medicine in many different countries developing unique approaches to acute and chronic pain syndromes.
Now with a Focused Practice in Pain Management, Dr. Aubry offers these modalities at the Stittsville Integrative Medicine Clinic. Referrals are not necessary, and an appointment with Dr. Aubry will not affect your relationship with your family physician.
